Well, Clay just left taking Chris & Ashley out here to Food Lion to meet up with the church youth group...they are going to King's Dominion today. They are both so excited....hope they have a fun time! Will get back about 10pm tonight. Not sure about my plans for the day just yet...I know I need to wash/change the sheets on the kids' beds & I want to scrap....trying desperately to catch up on these last few challenges. Will just see how things go.

Family Matters
'Family Matters'....one of my creations from over the weekend. I loved how this one turned out & just look at that couch full of kiddos!! From left to right there's Jon, Caitlin, Ashley, Brittany, Christie, Chris holding Michael & Hunter (who did NOT want to have his picture taken!) This was done for a challenge at LM to use the name of a TV show as your title.

Finally getting a chance to sit down & chill. We had a really fun day today......Danielle, Greg & the kids came for a visit. The visit was actually to bring us their old bunk beds & kitchen set.....we've been trying to do this for ages now & it just hasn't worked out with Clay's work schedule & all. They got here around 4pm & we visited awhile & then they guys ran out to Vitos to get pizza for supper.....just too hot to cook in my non-ACed kitchen! Then after supper, the boys wanted to take Dillon down to the pond to fish a bit, so we all tagged along too. Of course, Ella & I had fun taking pics of everyone! After they left around 9pm we went outside to watch the fireworks from Camp Jeep out at Oakridge. They were really awesome!! Best we've seen in a long time. Think I'm headed upstairs now to finish my book....was ALMOST done this afternoon when they got here. I already picked the second one up at the library yesterday.

Fabulous Friday
Ok, it's been FOREVER since I posted, but several of my scrappin' buddies have started blogs & after reading theirs, I decided to give this a 'go' once more. I really do need to keep up.....several of my friends have said how they enjoy checking out my blog.....& I really enjoy going back & reading over my entries. So....Today, I have to run some errands for Clay & pick up a few groceries. The girls are going with me of course....any excuse to get out of the house & SHOP!
I am in the middle of TWO summer cyber crops online...trying to keep up with both & getting LOTS of layouts done. Will have to post a few of my recent creations soon.
Also been doing alot of reading this summer & happened upon a new author...Jennifer Chiaverini. Her novels about Elm Creek manor are awesome....well, the first one is. Almost done with it, but I fell asleep reading last night. Can't wait to get the second one. I plan on stopping by the library today while I'm out. The first book called 'The Quilter's Apprentice' has really given me the bug for wanting to quilt. HA! Like I need another crafty hobby.....but I REALLY am itching to do this. We had talked a few years back about starting a quilting/sewing class with our little Homeschool group. Several had expressed an interest in learning to sew/quilt & teaching their young girls to do the same. I'm seriously thinking about working this up for this coming fall. Hope we can get something planned....I think it would REALLY be fun!!
