Granny Stripes

Pulled out some of my Peaches N Cream cotton yarn this morning & decided to have a go at the Granny Stripes I was telling you about yesterday. I love how the sun is playing across the table.

After lunch Alli was quite anxious to get to work on her gingerbread house. This is one of those kits that you can buy from Walmart or Michaels or AC Moore. We pick ours up each year AFTER Christmas for about $1 & tuck them away with the Christmas decorations to have for the following year. ;-)

She had a blast doing it & I think it turned out really cute!

And Ta-da..............here's my finished Granny Stripe dish cloth. Pretty cute, if I do say so myself & what a fun way to use up those scraps! I can't wait to do more!!

I love your stripes. I sat down and read the blog from northern England and loved her bright colors in her crochet work. You have used the same bright colors in your Granny stripes.
I adore Alli's little house. It made me think of the gingerbread man cookies the above blogger's little toddler decorated. I laughed all day about that one!!!
