Projects

I've been feeling very homey & cozy today.....not sure if it's because it's been barely above freezing outside today....or the time of year that it is....or just what....but anyway. I've been totally enjoying the warmth of the woodstove....happy just puttering around the house doing the dishes, folding the laundry & all that good stuff. So, I thought I'd snap a few pics of our everyday goodness. Our dining room (yeah, right....more like our craft) table with Ashley's Christmas oranments all spread out.......she's making those cool 3D Christmas balls out of old Christmas cards.

And on another side of the table is my little Granny Star in the process of being embellished.

And a few shots of the finished project.

Don't you just love my name that Pop made for me many moons ago?! Very special!

After lunch I set about to do a little scrappiness. I've been hanging onto this pic of the two Ashley's taken back on Ashley's 17th birthday...back in September. I loved how Ashley Cates referred to them as 'Ashley Squared' when she posted the pic on her facebook....so I stole that for my title.

And I must say that I'm pleased with how it turned out!

While the kids were off here & there doing their things this afternoon, I decided to pop 'White Christmas' in the computer & watch it while I worked on some crochet projects. I LOVE this movie........'Sisters...sisters....there were never such devoted sisters.....' Again, I was pleased that I finished up the last of the camo caps for the little guys on my list. Will take some pics of all of them later....tomorrow when the lighting in here is better. Right now, I'm off to continue my happy, homey, cozy feeling by fixing a cup of coffee & working a puzzle with Alli.

Giiiiiiirl...You are a blogging MACHINE this month! Sheesh! I gotta catch up! PLEASE give me the energy you have! I have been to a 6th grade basketball game every single day for the last 2 1/2 weeks!
I did wrap some gifts tonight and I have all the cousin gifts ready to mail (miracle of miracles!) But I am lacking motivation for some reason... move to California and rub off on me!
